(makes it sound rather vaudevillian, doesn’t it?)

The Wasp Factory

Published: 1984
Pages: ~184
Completed: No
Enjoyed: No

Seriousness: Dealing with serious things in an off-hand way
Genre: Understanding the mind of a psychopath? I’m not really sure.
Difficulty: Easy reading, disturbing material
Rating: R16 – violence, some swearing, some very uncomfortable thought processes.

Recommend: No

Up next … Don Quixote, which ought to be more enjoyable (though could be one of those things that the collective cultural debris obscures what it’s actually like).
